I wish I could give 0 stars. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody returns messages (at this point I'm at 11 left messages). The new employer system has been unable to take submissions for over 3 weeks. It makes you fill out the whole thing then tell you it is down. The whole VEC appears to be in the dark ages. Or worse, because I can't actually establish that they even exist at this point.

These people have way too much power to ruin peoples life at the stroke of a key. Every person is guilty until proven otherwise. THE ATTENDANTS ARE VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, HORRID PEOPLE. The customer service lady sat on the phone with me for what seemed forever trying to convince me that unemployment benefits were a handout, you know like welfare and I should be very thankful if I get anything at all. Employers rule supreme and are the dictators wether you get your monies. Sad state of affairs. Avoid at all costs.

WTH? Why bother having a phone system if you are NEVER going to answer it!!! What a joke! If a private business was run like this it would be bankrupt in a minute! Too bad we can't give it NEGATIVE stars. Trying to get my tax rate and account number...to GIVE them money, but I'll be penalized if its late...sheesh

What a joke of a call system, the definition of incompetence, though I've grown to expect that from nearly all commonwealth employees. I've tried two days straight over 100 calls to get through to somebody... anybody... I've tried every number and repeatedly been hung up on by the automated system. No call back option, no hold line.. just a big 🖕🏻 F YOU to anyone not lucky enough to find a government employee who isent "assisting another caller". Edit: Finally got ahold of someone, it must have been a late Christmas miracle... The lady was very helpful and polite, but that dosent change how utterly bad the call system is.
