Would give zero if I could. Nice guy running the place and the good marks stop there. The route to the KOA leads through a very run down, dirty looking little town. Upon arrival my husband was told not to drink the water. My husband did not want to drive several more hours to another campground so as he set up the trailer I read the "undrinkable water " details provided at check in which stated the nitrates and bacteria levels in the water were not safe for babies and pregnant women and said they should not drink the water. My thought was "so, it's safe for all of us HEALTHY people and our dog"?? My next thought was, "don't hook up the water and don't run ANY of that water through our trailer" and that is what we did. Had no water for the 1 day/night, got no discount. Hope they get their water issues fixed. Clean water, you know, the little things in life.

This is a nice RV park, we stayed for one night. Every slot has a picnic table and grass area with plenty of room to set up a BBQ. the bathrooms were not fancy but clean. The showers were nice and the pool was very nice, the largest we've seen to date. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We had a great time. Eunice at front desk was super friendly & helpful. Facilities were fine. Pool was nice because it was hot during our stay. Close to sequoia & kings canyon. Quiet & clean. Good location right off highway. There are definitely ants, so don't leave stuff outside. Maybe bring ant killer with you.

There are a lot of things I can over look when it comes to camping, but this KOA had a few that were unacceptable in my opinion. Our camp ground was full of fire ants. We talked to the front desk about it and they did come out to spray, but then there was fresh chemicals in our area and in our group we had 6 kids under 5. The playground area was riddled with cat poop and one of their seesaws was broken. Cats by the 100s roam around at night The nitrate level is dangerously high at any consumable capacity There is a restroom in the corner near the cabins that is co-ed and VERY strange. The first breath of air you take when you wake up smells like every chicken on the farm died. It’s BAD. I grew up in an agriculture area, but trying to choke down breakfast with that smell is hard. The only saving grace is that it does wear off as the day goes on. The pool is just ok. The concrete around the pool is like molten lava so please be careful. Every single trailer’s water hook up leaks. And then there is Jim. He was beyond rude to us at 10:30pm. We were well aware that the quiet time was 10pm. We were sitting outside our trailer talking and he came by and gave us a warning, then came by again and told us he was going to evict us. When we asked if someone complained he said we don’t wait for complaints. Let me remind you that we have six kids under 5 in the trailers and cabins next to us so we were probably the quietest people in the entire campground. I have never been so appalled at how we were treated and will never go back. I was so upset that I spoke to the front desk the following day to make sure we understood the rules because our experience was horrific. The same thing happened to another camper near by us the following night and they were upset too so we told them it apparently happens to everyone. Honestly, half this list is stuff that I can deal with, but being yelled at and threatened is something I cannot get over.

First time staying at a KOA. We checked in late and the process was straightforward and clear with simple instructions. The place isn't exactly in the wilderness or off the beaten path, but it's the perfect staging area for a trip to Sequoia NP, or a stop off on your travels elsewhere. Facilities were well kept and clean!
