I had to edit my experience with the resale center unfortunately. While the sales experience was good, I was sold a car with an overdue brake system. And so, buyer beware. If you decide to purchase a car from here, be sure to have an independent inspection within the NY lemon law timeline (between 30-90 days depending on the mileage of the car). Otherwise, you may end up with a large bill for a problem that should have been taken care of by the center.

Update After having my car for for 3 and a half week, I am very disappointed on the maintenance of the vehicle. I first noticed that my cars MPG was low compared to what the car was rated for 25/38. I was getting about 18-19 and felt like I was burning through fuel. I decided to do a quick google search and decided to check the air filer; my air filter was disgusting, dark gray and looked like it hasn't been changed in a long time; same with the cabin filter. I noticed that my coolant level was extremely low, about 1/8 from L (low). I decided to schedule an oil change cause I had the feeling that my car was not maintained, Thankfully I did. On 1/24 my oil pressure light came on, I checked the level and there was barely any oil in my car. I got an oil change done today and the mechanics at Vision Hyundai Henrietta were surprised why I was getting one so soon, after I told them I just bought the car. Well unfortunately my car was not properly maintained. If I didn't decide to check the air filter, look at the coolant and schedule an oil change, who knows how long my car would have lasted. I literally drove out with a ticking time bomb. You expect the car to be in good/great shape after investing so much money, but that was the case.

In 2014, I came in looking for a used sedan that was 2009 or newer, payments needed to be $200 or less and 100,000 miles or less. I was to receive my student loan refund at the end of the week which was $4000 that I was going to be using as a down payment. I had no expectation of leaving with a vehicle. I met with a gentle who was telling me how he just finished rehab and had his certificate on the wall. After some small talk, I told him what I was looking for. First he showed me a 2012 Ford focus that had 61K miles. I test drive it and think it's nice but pretty sure it's outside my price range. He then showed me a 2009 HHR with 71K. The HHR clearly is not a sedan but I test drove it anyway and didn't like it. The price for the HHR was $9000 so the price wasnt bad but not what I was looking for. After that, I asked him what was next and he told me that was all he had. There was a whole lot fill of cars yet these two were the only ones that fit what I was looking for? I asked him the price of the Focus and he danced around the question. He said he would give me $2000 for my trade in and that my payment for the focus would be $220/mo. It was a little more than what my price range was. He told me I had to be willing to make a deal that day otherwise he could not help me. He also said I could drive off in the Focus that night if I signed over the title to my trade in and made arrangements later that week to bring in the $4000. I felt pressured but I also thought this man was making me a good deal as he charmed me with his good faith attitude. I agreed and drive off that night. On that Friday when I was due to come in, I got a call saying my sale was changing and that I would see when I came in. I was told that since the bank heard I was a temp employee at that time (which I was upfront and honest about in the first place) they no longer wanted to give me a loan but the sales man found another bank that would, Santander. I looked over the new paperwork and it said my payments were going to be $332/mo! It also said that after my $4000 Cash plus the $2000 for my trade, I was still going to owe $13,000! I could have went and got a brand new car! He said I already signed over my title to my old car so I couldn't have it back and I had to go along with this deal. He then asked me if I had MORE money that I could put shown in the car! I tried calling a few days later to explain how I couldn't handle the high payment and if there was anything that could be done but I never got a call back. Because of this, I ended up having to send my daughter to live with my mother for a year since I couldn't afford to pay the bills. I was able to refinance after 7 months but my payments only went down to $292/mo. Over the couple years I had the car, I went to several dealerships including two different vision locations. They told me the Ontario location is like to black sheep of the vision locations and they wished I had brought my business to them. They all agree that I was screwed over and taken advantage of. They kept telling me to keep making the payments and thats all I can do. I tried to trade it anywhere to hopefully have something with lower payments but have always been told I owe more on the car then what it's worth. I've tried so hard to keep up the payments and I paid on time and in full until this past December when I went on short term disability. The bank gave me until the end of February to make a payment. Ultimately, my best course of action was to take my tax return and buy a beater since there is no way I can continue to pay$300 a month plus another almost $200 for insurance. The car is getting repossessed by the end of the week and as of now,$8300 is still left on the car. This place absolutely took advantage of me and screwed me so badly. This place put me in such a bad situation and I will NEVER do business with ANY vision dealership. Every person I talk to, I always tell them to steer clear. It is incredible the lengths that were taken to get me into a car they I couldn't afford right from the get go.

We went in to look around at some cars, I had at least 5 family members with me, I ended up having a salesman by the name of brian, he was so attentive and patient, I wasn't really sure what I was looking g for and had alot of questions I was asking along with other family members that were testing Brian's experience...needless to say...I ended up buying a car that fit my needs...the whole process from start to finish was made very easy with lots of laughs and enjoyable conversation...a great package and great car...I love my new car..and I will be back and suggest Brian to anyone that is looking for a car..they worked very hard for me...and that's what was important...from Brian all the way down to the finance manager everyone was so helpful and nice...thank you for making this experience easy as my case was not very simple.
