I had a great experience working with Horacio Socarras and Chris Thomas. Horacio was very patient in answering my questions and helping me with the financing process. Originally, I had traveled to Volvo Marin for a different vehicle entirely. I traveled an hour to Marin because I had been pleased with the service I had received thus far while searching for the right vehicle. After test driving the intended vehicle, I had reservations due to the price and quality. I began to have the thought process that I would be better off buying new, and the Volvo caught my eye. The salesperson was initially patient during the experience. After I test drove the Volvo, I knew that was the vehicle I wanted. After going through the process, I was handed the keys, and that was it, the salesperson walked away. No introduction to the new vehicle, I was left in the parking lot to discover things on my own. I got into my new $40,000 vehicle and was not only disappointed with the handoff but had absolutely no idea where anything was in the vehicle. The discomfort was anxiety provoking, and the first drive in my new Volvo almost resulted in an accident. I wish the experience had been better. I fully expected a warmer introduction into my brand-new Volvo. Instead, I was given a cold hand off. Disappointing. Very disappointing.
