Story

VZD's Restaurant & Bar is a locally owned and operated bar located in the heart of the Western Avenue district of Oklahoma City. For three decades, it has been a hub for live music and fountain for beer and fabulous mixed drinks. VZD's reopened in the fall of 2015 after being remodeled and revamped but still offers locals all the tradition it has always entailed.

Nice place for a bite and live music. Laid back atmosphere and good selection of cocktails at about average price. The "Old Fashion" draft is a solid choice at a mere $2. Food was quick and good. The nachos were enough for 3. Sounds quality was also good and not really a bad seat in the house.

Very classy bar and restaurant friendly staff, amazing food, try the grilled cheese sandwich it's to die for! Not overly priced, great atmosphere, amazing retro styling immediately makes you feel like you stepped back in time... staff seemed to be on top of it from the start... no it's time to visit this place at night and see what the night life is like... I could only imagine it is more of the same quality and service. also you gotta try the chili their vegetarian chili is amazing!

Great cozy location. Offers private dinner parties, awesome idea! Mid range food prices. Upstairs dining.

First time there last night to see Samantha Fish. Very nice place. Good food, good service. Only thing is, with the place full as it was last night and apparently is with the  rest of the quality entertainment they have, it does get uncomfortably warm so dress cool. Still a nice place to go for good food, service and quality entertainment.

Saw Albert Cummings perform at VZD'S had a great time. the food and beers was good and the service was awesome look forward to come back again sometime.
