I sampled their BBQ at Rockin Ribs in Springfield. It was the first booth we came across. That 2 oz sample was going to be hard to beat... and no other booth's that were serving samples did. We came back after making our rounds and, happily, they were still serving. Honestly, we didn't need to try any others, as far as our vote went. Hands down, it was the best!  Next time I head north, I will be doing a detour to Excelsior to get the full experience!

Fall off the bone half smoked chicken and fresh brewed ice tea. Did I mention the fried pickle spears and Burnt Ends? Bring a lot of appetite. They don't believe in small portions. Price is more than fair for portion size! Neat old train station converted into a bbq joint!

Love going to this place. Great BBQ and staff are friendly. During summer they have live bands. I bring alot of friends here who have never been. Better than Gates BBQ.  Up in Excelsior Springs just past The Elms.

Such amazing bbq. The workers are friendly but always busy. Here you can sit inside or out when weather allows. They also have had bands there playing out side. Its definitely place I highly recommend.

It's out a ways from Kansas city/40 min's.  Wait time was a little long in waiting for food. Ribs tasted amazing great as did beans, coleslaw and French fries.  Not the best interior w/ wobbly table and saw 1 couple move due to being too cold/next to vent.  Again, food was great but wait time and fixtures below par. Would Dec take food to go next time but would go out that way again.
