This guy can cook! I was seriously impressed when we went there Sunday afternoon. My medium-well eggs were perfectly done... And most people can't seem to do that.  The staff was friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive.  Food was excellent. This experience really changed my mind about "Awful" House. 

I'm really looking forward to going to this Waffle House again this weekend. Hope the same staff is there and the experience is just as good.

Morning shift is always so nice and get your food out quick! And welcome you when you walk in and check on you all the time to make sure you have everything you need and never run out of drink or have to get their attention to get something. No matter how busy they are always great service in the mornings.

Service is terrible! Halfway through my coffee, I realized there was particles of something stuck to the inside if my coffee cup. It was obvious that the cup wasn't clean when the waitress filled it up. She didn't apologize, offer me a fresh cup, take it off my bill....nothing. She acted like it was my fault. There was only 2 people in there on a weekday morning at one booth and 4 booths were still dirty. That should have been a clue for me to leave then. I overheard one waitress cussing and 5 minutes later she talking to herself about a discussion she had with her preacher. Waffle house has let me down again with their poor service, but yet they consistently keep a100% drama rating. I will not be visiting that location any longer and probably strike waffle house off my list in the Birmingham area for a long time.

Mostly friendly staff and my hashbrown bowl was delicious, but there were dirty dishes piled up on some of the tables to the side (not sure how long they'd been sitting there, but it dudnt look like anyone was in a hurry to clean it), several tables had not been washed in a while (I had to clean myself a place to sit with Germ-X and a napkin), staff was more interested in shooting the breeze with one another than making sure that the coffee was fresh (it was awful...burned), the orange juice was made (there was none, even 20 minutes after I had asked for some, they hadn't bothered), and the waffles were up to standard (my mom's waffle was paper thin and soggy).  I am disappointed that this is what passes for quality these days at a place famous for its waffles...
