Prices have gone up on many items lately. Cashiers lately are ringing up items at an extremely slow pace so we usually choose self checkout, but with large orders, self checkout is not as efficient. Cashiers should have a performance review of their speed and accuracy on a comparative basis and given their raise based upon that merit. Customers will choose another location if this type of cashier service is acceptable to Walmart.

9/19/17 Listen the offerings from this location is light years from the location that was in Matteson which was horrible or the one in Forest Park. This store has a great bakery less craziness from fellow customers and it did not take me more than 30 minutes to get checked out. The seasonal (Halloween) items was far more organized and had a better selection than the location In Forest Park, this store seemed to have a better sense that the Halloween season is very soon. Kudos! A huge candle selection totally awesome. Did not need to interact with the workers that is probably why my review is higher than other raters.

Totally unacceptable!!! There is absolutely no reason in the world why these poor creatures should not have enough water in that little cup of prison to move around in and possibly get somebody to buy them and take them home. Management is not even capable of overseeing this. I was there for pictures which did not turn out well will not ever return to Walmart again my review would be a -10 except for the gentleman who rang me out it was actually very courteous

I usually don’t have issues with this Walmart but as of lately they have been doing less than acceptable job in the customer service department. I was looking for a air matress that I’ve seen online for about 49.99 with the original price of $74. So I thought this was a steal. I called customer service and I was told I can come in and get it anytime. I didn’t know this location was open 24 hours. So I went and got 1 and at check out the staff memeber asked me to wait a second. She went and got another staff memeber who then proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t get it for 49.99 because it wasn’t the same one. When I proved her other wise she then said it was a different location, again I showed her it was the Richton Park location. Then after all that failed she proceeded to say that it wasn’t in stock. Seriously she was trying everything to not give it to me for the price that it was advertised as. So I told her I won’t be getting in and that I would order it online. Needless to say that the situation could have been handled better. As a customer service rep my self I understand there are rules to follow however everything she was saying she was pulling it right out of her ass. Better luck next time.

Would rate higher, but... S-L-O-W check out. Not enough check out lanes open (3 lanes open, and more than 4 people waiting per line). Too many employees just standing around, and some on cell phones. No bags - really? You're out of something you use on every customer, every day - Poor Management!
