It's Wal-Mart. Great for people watching and cheap toilet paper. Despite being a smaller location, They manage to cram quite a bit in there without overcrowding the shelves and aisles. I must say, they tend to run out of specific products (cold medicine, and my favorite unscented lotion) often.

They don't want to honor an item at the advertised price of THE SHELF LABEL. 24 pack of Stella Artois - shelf label = $9.97 REALISTICALLY = $27.99 They refused to honor the misstocked price. Ended up calling corporate and the store director personally called and thanked me for finding a way to better train her associates and gave me a $20 gift card. Not bad....

Huuuge selection, and although there are always waaay too many people there at any given time, there's always reasonable parking and generally quick service.

Very hard to find from the busiest road that it's by which is Valley Center Parkway. They need more signs.

Can't argue with Walmart's prices so they have gone up a bit recently. Service is really poor. They stated they are just understaffed and there's always a long line unless you do self service. Hate paying $0.10 per bag. Hate that at the checkout counter you have to put your item in the bag area before you put it in your card. It's another way for you to have to use a bag. I would rather put things right into my car but using the self-service it will simply stop every third item if you do that and you have to have the attendant come over and then free it up again. It's truly a pain. They should definitely make it so that they are not stopping machines when you do not place your item on the baggage area especially if you don't want bags. This particular Walmart is not a Superstore. There are a lot of items they do not have. If you want the grocery and of things you will have to go across the street to a different Walmart that is named something like a Family Market. I think it was ridiculous a split up this Walmart they have produce in one store and general items and another and a mix of both in either. There is another Walmart in San Marcos that is much better and has everything most of the time.
