By far, one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had at a Walmart; the other exceptional experience was at the Walmart on Broad street . The customer service was as it should be. The employees are helpful and pleasant. Instead of acting like they're doing the patron a favor by showing up to work, they are actually at work to provide customer service to patrons. I would go out of my way to come to this Walmart, over 35 miles from my home, before I would even consider going to a Walmart near me, which is the Colonial Heights (Tri Cities area). There was one area that I would have liked to be better than it was and that and was the produce area; some of the produce was not too appealing.

Best experience that I've had at a Walmart so far! I was recently in this store just picking up a few things when I spotted the type of dining set I had been looking for. I was so excited to see that this store had it in stock so I tried to get it as soon as possible.. not thinking about how heavy or how huge the set was! All of the employees that passed me by were so helpful and asked if I was being helped. Someone found Nick and Brandy for me and they came to my rescue! They took care of me from the checkout counter to putting the set in my car without damaging anything. I was a little upset and embarrassed at first but, they went above and beyond to make me feel at ease! Thanks again you guys!

You can enter and exit at the garden center. They also have a cashier in the garden center sometimes. So you can really get in and out quickly if what you want is on the garden center side of the store and there is a cashier there.

Love this Walmart location at Walmart Way across the street from Wegmans. Love the smaller shopping carts too. Very helpful for us premium citizens.
