This is Dr. Kevin Schwarz responding: I have been the Optometrist here for 12 years. I give a thorough comprehensive exam and back up my eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions with 60 day complimentary follow-up for any problems. Regarding these reviews: All patients receive friendly, careful and thorough service. Most get an exam, order glasses and move on with their lives. However, despite trying your best, you can't please everyone. (Yes, It's my fault you failed the DMV vision test or that your insurance does not cover contact fittings.) Some people are simply angry at life and want to lash out. I see about 4000 patients a year. In 12 years that is 48,000 patient encounters. I guess I'll have to live with a few negative reviews. Give us a try and see for your self!

I have a statement from Dr. Schwartz that I have 20/40 vision without correction, but he put "to get 20/20 R & L - YES" on my DMV form. KNOWING THEY WILL REQUIRE ME TO WEAR CORRECTION TO DRIVE. is he going to be buying my contacts now? And what about the reading glasses I need when I wear contacts? And what is he going to do about my headaches when I wear glasses? I met the DMV standard without correction! And then they charged me an additional $25 over what I was quoted. DON'T SHOP THERE!!

I have gone to Walmart Vision Centers for years and years and have seen multiple doctors all over TN and a few in AR as well. I've been a repeat customer to the Millington establishment and will continue to go there for several more years to come. In my experience, for as many patients that are seen every day, I believe the doctor does a great job keeping on schedule, but being friendly and attentive to my needs at the same time. I've never had a bad experience with him or his staff. In fact I'm the opposite entirely, I recommend my family and friends to go to him.

If I had to review Dr Kevin and the guy in the vision center alone I would definitely give them a 5star rating, Dr. Kevin was a breath of fresh air compared to the Assistant Sherry at his front desk. Let's start with the appointment time, 9am on a Saturday. The vision center opened late, I showed up 10 minutes early and ended up waiting 15. Walmart honestly is never on time. Then I'm directed to the doctors office and that's where It really took a turn for the worst. Sherry Sherry Sherry Sherry. Now Sherry was a piece of work at first, but after my "I leave reviews" comment she came around. She told me my kid had to be 8 to get her eyes checked by any any doctor And That They Don't Take My Insurance (But They do) she just gave me really hard time. I ended up snatching my card out her hands and walking out. 5 minutes later she was calling me back in to see the eye doctor (the guilt consumed her soul) I left so much out, Sherry had a chip on her shoulder though. Not a nice person. The guy in the vision center was however very polite and helpful. DR. KEVIN PLEASE REPLACE SHERRY. I still don't care much for her.....

I'll never go back to that one! The receptionist was totally rude no people skills at all. And they charged me a fitting fee but all he did was hand me the contacts and went and examined another customer. Never said one word. I would have posted with no stars but it wouldn't let me. Worst experience ever. The two of them deserve each other. lol
