Story

WCYC brings the finest and the freshest from the sea to downtown Walnut Creek. We are honored to be a Michelin Guide recommended restaurant. Our winelist has won Wine Spectator Awards for the past thirteen years, and our Bar and Bartenders are the holders of numerous awards, both from the public and the industry. Our service staff are highly trained professionals who can help you decide on your oysters to start your meal, your fresh fish for your entree and the wine to pair with it, and your sipping rum or scotch to finish off.

The Yacht Club is seafood restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek. It features fresh seafood and Yacht environment. There is seating outside on those nice summer nights with valet parking as it is busy on weekends. I recommend doing a reservation as they are closed Sundays and Mondays. This is easily done on Yelp and other apps. As for the food, I’ve always enjoyed the oysters as they have a variety from the US fresh and have special sauce from restaurant. The fish has always been moist and tender. Vegetable taste like it was picked from the local market. However, my favorite is always been the muscles or clams. I eat those and I am in heaven but my daughter can eat a whole lobster. For dessert the have a variety as well. As great place to eat with family or special occasions. 

Note: if you like the restaurant make sure to get loyalty card to get cash discounts on future visit.

Fresh seafood is where this starts.  Clam bar is a must.  Crab,  Lobster dinners are my favourite,  but I force myself to try every item on the menu over my visits because so far they are all 5 star choices.  The bar does not disappoint and you will have a hard time not trying different one of a kind drinks.  Save room for dessert.

Very good food & even better service. Cooked wife's steak in different pan to avoid potential shellfish allergy. Outstanding. Try Hawaiian albacore ceviche & crab cakes. Pictured.

Great food, professional courteous service. Beautiful surroundings close the MART train availability. Highly recommend.
