Food wasn't bad, but service was horrible. I'm guessing it was just a bad day for our server. However, I'm not really eager to give them a second shot.

We love Sasa we been coming here for the past 2 years once a week, we love the food the service its always great Louie and all servers are amazing always with a smile. Jason always take time out of his busy day to say hello.

I thought the rolls were pretty bland and unexciting and the rice stale and not well seasoned the way sushi rice should be.  The combo skewers were decent, but some of the items were overcooked (like the pork belly).  The other cooked food like the duck sliders, and the ribs over wasabi mashed potatoes were better.  The highlight was their tuna parfait, pictured below.  California Japanese fusion all the way but in favor of their cooked food.  Their drink menu is extensive and even though the ambience feels like a date spot, the downtown Walnut Creek crowd is definitely more family oriented.
