This is my park, I love this park, I walk the park as often as I can. It is forever interesting with the twist and turns, the water and the birds and the squirrels, all the wildlife,Amazing. I stop at the dog park to watch the dogs running free playing with each other and just enjoying life. Interesting to watch grown man playing soccer, baseball, girls teams, boys teams something for everyone. The beach is enjoyable with shading trees and a cool breeze always. Picnic benches, resting benches, swings , slides, what a fun place for kids.sometimes I will swing and smile to myself, look up at the great sky, Thank you city park and thank you to all the park staff for doing such a good job at my park!

This place deserves five stars not for it's sheer beauty, or it's design of the land. It deserves 5 stars for it's access to so much, it's feeling of open space, and it's varying recreational capacity. Take, for example, the 3 mile paved bike route/running loop. Or, the three athletic fields near the play ground. There is a dog park, also. The beach access with lifeguards during the summer has great West Greenwich Bay views. You can also pick one of many areas along the water to do a little fishing. The activities are many, and the park itself is a place where people can have enough space to do what they want. Occasionally, you'll see a person using their drones, someone lifting heavy objects in some sort of intense workout, and more than your average walker/biker Check it out, there is plenty to do. Just be wary of drivers not following the stop signs where the bike/running route crosses the road. Occasionally, there will be an impatient driver who has to pass you, too.

3 miles path, baseball field, soccer field, playground, dog park. All in one place. Plenty of parking and also a beach area overlooking the bay. Great place for everyone.

If you're looking for an open ocean beach with white sands and rolling waves, the beach at this park it's not for you. BUT if you're looking for a calm, free, non-crowded spot where your kids can play in the sand and water without having to worry about a wave washing them away, this is the beach for you. My daughter is 3 and we love it here. Plus when beach time is over, she loves to play at the playground for a bit as well.
