My late Dad (aka Papi, Opa, Horst Maurer) and I lived right near the entrance for many years. Chepiwanoxet Point is beautiful and peaceful. We used to walk around the peninsula often with our dog Chuckie and we would collect any cups or trash that were left behind to keep it beautiful. Still trying to raise money to afford a bench to commemorate my Dad's life, may he rest in peace. Born 9-19-1933, Died 8-4-2011
