Washington Plaza Baptist Church is a warm and inviting community. The music and the choir are excellent. Each part of the service is meaningful to me and Pastor Nickens' sermons always make me think. Lunch is served after each service. Sunday at WPBC has become the highpoint of my week.

I am so very fortunate to have joined the Washington Plaza Baptist Church family. What a family indeed! Very warm and inviting Church where all are welcome. I look forward to Sunday message from Pastor Michelle Nickens.

I began attending Washington Plaza Baptist Church about 6 months ago because I was looking for a church home for my family. My Kids (ages 10,11) love the children's church and ask me each week if they can go back. That is enough reason for me to go but, there is so much more. I wanted a church where my kids were exposed to people from all different backgrounds. The church is a diverse mix of young and old. Some of the members have been attending since the church opened in 1967! All of the colors in the crayon box are represented and the church has been welcoming of all different walks of life, young, old, gay, straight, black, white and everything in-between. If you are looking for a church that cares more about your walk with Christ than what you what you look like on Sunday morning, this could be your new church home.
