Best pizza I've ever had. Just moving back to town after 19 years. I cannot believe I had never been here when I was a kid! Homemade pizzas from scratch, made in an open kitchen so you can actually WATCH most of the cooks tossing the dough. It's a smaller building but the front and back patios are awesome on nice days and they have different live entertainment. They even serve shark. Great for our whole family, and a great place to relax in the evening on date night. I've yet to meet a server that wasn't friendly and helpful. If you live in the area or you're passing through, you absolutely much check this place out! I promise you won't leave hungry, and we ALWAYS have food left over to take home.

I was in Grand Island for a competitive shooting event (USPSA) and a few friends and I Googled pizza. Not wanting cookie cutter chain pizza we decided to give the Wave a try. It was slammed and rightfully so. This is hands down the best pizza I've ever had in my life! Fri Night - Food took a while to get to us, but the waitress kept us well beered and there was no complaint (the place was at capacity with a line out the door). When we got the food, it was literally a soul moving experience, the pizza was giant, hot and so good. Sat Night - The next day we were hungry again and since ti was so good, instead of trying some other place we went back......and we ordered enough Pizza for our drive back to Denver on the drive home the next day. Sun - Driving back to Denver was a joy because we had more Wave Pizza! Fast forward a year - We were back in town for the next years shooting event and made it a priority to eat at the Wave two more times when we were in town. Seriously I don't know what makes it so special, but whenever I am near Grand Island I will be going to the Wave for food!

Great place to go! Scratch made pizzas an great food. Good beers on tap and awesome atmosphere. We try to go whenever we are in town.

Pizza and salads are pretty good. This place is a dive and in need of some serious paint and furniture upgrade!! Sometimes service is fast and others times it’s like they forget you are there........

Maybe its just my bad timing but every time i have ordered or dined in it was not a satisfying experience. Ive had long hour+ waits, undercooked dough, missing toppings on their "signature" pizzas, and so on... probably won't give it another go BUT their prices are decent.
