Every time I go to Waves, the food and service is excellent. After my father passed away, I needed a place to have the funeral luncheon. I contacted Waves to see if they could accommodate my family, they said yes. We were seated in a semi-private back room, with windows. I could not have selected a better place for our luncheon. The food was excellent, and service outstanding. I know my father would have loved it. It was a difficult day for us, but my mind was set a ease knowing the Waves Staff took care of us. In the future, for showers or my sorority dinners, we will come back to Waves!! Outstanding!

Today was my birthday. The waitress knew this- service was slow, food was fresh. The stake was a great cut however no one knows how to cook it to specs. We had four stakes, all of them Way under-cooked even after they were sent back for another 11 min. they arrived back on the table as they left -the dirty plates etc. stayed on the tables way longer than they should have and dessert took 18 min from receiving the menu to giving the order then another 22 min. to get them on the table. Did not get my birthday song and lei. Waves has a blotted reputation and are happy to serve the sheepish community. If I was not with my family of 6 and the time I already had invested, I would have left. cost for all this 168.00 before gratuity. Not happy. I recommend Spending your quality, special days anywhere but here. Pegasus Tavernas, Pat O'Brien's, Mike's on the Water, Brownies On The Lake, even Ram's Horn Family Restaurant are all near and a far better choice.. You spend one or two hours here because the service is that slow.

Have eaten there many times. This time we ordered their chili which is the best I've ever tasted. One of our party ordered the salmon, another the Cobb Salad. The presentation was very good, fresh and clean. The service was good, too.

The bread basket was fabulous. The tacos were huge with a generous amount of fish sauteed a peppers and onions but over half the taco shell was empty. The chips were fried fresh, but some of them were to greasy to eat. The ambience was very nice.

Been going to waves for years i love ribs they are so tender. Drinks are reasonable and i just love zac he is the best. I always order the fish bowl...waves version of a long island.
