I have been coming to this Vet office for years and I have had such wonderful experiences with all of the Veterinarians and techs that have helped with my little fur babies appointments. Which is why it pains me to feel like I must go some place else because the most unfortunate thing about this place is their front desk staff. Recently they seem to have a front desk staff that does not carry the same pleasant and helpful mentality and demeanor that the Vets and Techs do. I have never had as many problems in the past couple years, as I have had in the past couple months. The constant giving of incorrect information when it comes to appointments, daycare, and new patients. Not to mention the number of times I have been hung up on after being on hold for an eternity (clearly because I was forgotten about). And to be honest, I could probably get past that if it wasn't for the fact that they always have just a down right rude tone. I have never felt like I was more of a burdened or an inconvenience for asking some questions, which is hysterical to me considering I am a paying customer (or trying to be at least but I can't get an appointment). In the past 5 times I have called, I have literally had ONE pleasant helpful conversation where I had to get something scheduled and that was with the lovely Madylyn (if you call I suggest you ask if you can speak with her just right off the bat if you want any type of decent, respectful conversation), every other time I have had to just end the call out of frustration and anger. And I am basically at the point that I am feeling like I am just going to have to find another Vet, which I hate to do, because like I said the Veterinary staff and Techs are wonderful. I have two rescue pets that are both absolutely terrified of going to the Vet and respond in different ways, my dog cowers and my cat gets a bit aggressive, but the Vets and Techs are always so patient and kind. And I just rescued another and was hoping to bring her in to get checked out by the wonderful staff there, but when a place's first impression is that of feeling as if the staff is indirectly saying: i have better things to do with my time than help you or I am not interested in answering or even listening to your questions, then you really can't help but feel you must take your business else where. This is a hard decision for someone like me who has been and knows how wonderful everyone passed that front desk staff is, but I can only imagine what those who have not been there yet are beginning to think.

Although they are always busy, this is the best vet office I have ever been to. My dog passed away recently and they were so great with him in his last minutes. They (the vet and technician that worked with us) even sent me a hand written sympathy card. They're so knowledgeable in addition to being kind. I highly recommend them.

I don't hate it here. Actually you couldn't ask for better care... once you get it. The doctors are great the nurses are wonderful but it takes up literally half your day. I've been coming here for over 10 years and its always taken at least 10-40 minutes just to get into a room. Not to mention the wait after you get into the room. Appointment times mean nothing really. I would have given 5 stars but the waiting time is really ridiculous.

Went in for a kitten we have been fostering who was suffering real bad from diarrhea, and I'm a softie so I couldn't wait for the next day to bring him to our regular doc, so I went to the urgent care. There is a flat $75 emergency fee to be seen in the urgent care. When I called and asked, their appointments were booked up for ages. Of course it was very busy, being one of the only 24-hour places in the region (and pets just can't be sick during normal daylight hours can they..) and we went in at about 8pm. We eventually left close to 11-12, so it was a long time, and unfortunately a weeknight for me but once we got a room we were taken care of very quick. The doctors and nurses were very sweet with our tiny kitten, and gave him just the care he needed, as well as cleaned him up for us. The overall bill was just over 100, mainly due to the 75 dollar emergency fee - the medicine itself was not very expensive at all, though it was just basic, can't say for more advanced medications. And like most animal hospitals, unfortunately, if your bill were to be very high you are still paying it all right then unless you have some special pet insurance/credit card set up previously. The medications we were given for the kitten worked perfect - he was much better within a day and we were sent home with dewormer for 2 weeks later as well, so that was good. I appreciate the good care - I know the long wait is due to the demand and the fact that our kitten was not in a dire emergency, so I do not blame the office. Still provided wonderful and sweet care, good if you are in a predicament with your furry friend.

I would never use this vet again unless it was an emergency. My dog was pregnant and they had a pregnancy package which included ultrasound, xray, one vet check within 24-48 hours after birth of puppies. The ultrasound was fine, staff was rude, but doctor was pleasant. After my dog gave birth on a Saturday, they were not able to get my dog seen until over a week after they were born! The staff was incredibly rude, the doctor never called with multiples voicemails left. I had one cleft palette puppy that died and because of them I will never know if he would have made it. Even after almost two weeks, I still had to come in as an ER visit that they tried to charge me when I already paid for the entire pregnancy package. I hope everyone else has had a better experience.
