THE FOOD IS SOOO DELICIOUS. THE STAFF IS VERY FAMILY ORIENTED. SUCH HUGE PORTION OF DELICIOUS FOOD FOR REASONABLE PRICE! BEST PLACE EVER! THE LIVER & ONIONS WERE SO DELICIOUS. EVERYTHING IS HOME COOKED MEALS AT DOWN HOME PRICES. SMOTHERED OKRA N SHRIMP IS AWESOME. EVERYTHING IS FLAVORFUL AND HOME COOKED. OUTSTANDING PLACE AND COOKS. MY FAVORITE COFFEE SPOT TOO.

Love the small family owned atmosphere where you get generous portions and table service for about the same price as fast food.  Daily specials with that home cooked taste will have you coming back often.

I recently moved to Westwego. I 'stumbled' across WeGeaux just looking for a nearby place to eat. Well, I loved it. Great homemade food... friendly staff... generous portions. And it's obvious that WeGeaux is popular with the locals. Several of my friends regularly helped me with the move... and I thanked them with trips to WeGeaux. Now I know several of the staff by name. [ In case it isn't clear yet...... I LOVE THIS PLACE! ] :-)

Food was good as always. However it must have been a down day because I felt as though we were forgotten about. Again (Down day) because food and service is normally great.
