The worse company, completely unhelpful. My cat was totaled and instead of helping me through the process or directing to the correct department all they would say is this not my department and kept transferring me. The hold to talk to a human is too long even after you go through a long automated process. Over five months I have been dealing with this issue. Now they are sending me to collections when I'm clearly trying to get this handled. Every time I speak to them they tell me another document is missing from the GAP dept and that I need to do the leg work to get that info. They are horrible, I will be transferring my new car loan to another bank.

If you have no choice, they're acceptable but do not expect any assistance from them ever. 
I'll admit I had horrible credit when I used them and so they rightfully charged an arm and a leg. Now my credit is a lot better and id never even consider using them. Their archaic judgemental rules and reps suck beyond belief. I lost my job a few years back and had trouble making payment, their letters said call us for assistance. I did. None was given. Deferment? Nope, have to be working full time (why would I need it if I were working full time?)
Ability to make a partial payment because it's what I can afford right now and hopefully next week I can pay you? Nope, threatened to repossesses my car. 
Account manager was just as judgemental about my unemployment
When I kept racking up late fees because I was broke, their website wouldn't take a payment for anything less than the total amount due.
Bottom line is if you're wealthy and have decent credit, I'm sure they're good to you. If you're struggling like I was at the time I'd avoid them with a 10 foot pole.

They deserve negative stars. They are scam and fraud, read below... Wells Fargo should be out of business as soon as possible... They think they are God or something... Screw Wells Fargo and its employess, they all are scammers, thieves and fraud.....

Stumpf's resignation comes after Senator Elizabeth Warren publicly condemned him for "gutless" leadership at a Sept. 20 Senate hearing. "You should resign. ... You should be criminally investigated," Warren told Stumpf during a fiery one-sided exchange.

On Wednesday, Warren applauded Stumpf's decision to leave the helm of the company, tweeting "As I said: @WellsFargo CEO Stumpf should resign, return every nickel he made during the scam, & face DOJ/SEC investigation. He's 1 for 3."
