Wellspring Holistic Veterinary Care is a unique, non-traditional veterinary clinic. Dr. Kerr is a 1987 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Kerr practiced small animal and equine medicine in Bloomington, Indiana for a year, then relocated to Shallotte, North Carolina. He and his wife, Dr. Betsy Burbank, opened Companion Animal Hospital and operated it for 14 years. In 2001, Dr. Kerr began studying Chinese medicine at The Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. After completing training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Tui-Na in 2004, he opened Wellspring Holistic Veterinary Care.
