To the customers.. I’m an employee at Wendy’s in Lawrenceville. We open a little after 11 due to us being short staffed. We wait for the rest of our crew to get here so we can be of service to y’all. I apologize that we aren’t open when it says we are but after the pandemic NOBODY WANTS TO WORK. Please be patient with us and understanding. Again sorry about this issue, and We usually close the doors between 2-3 as well. I hope you all have a wonderful day
this location is next to my hotel i am at for work. i walked over & was apologized to that the lobby is closed but i could order online, it's 2022, that's fine ! i talked to 2 of the employees while i waited because they were outside as well. they were apologizing that they're under staffed and trying their best with the staff they have. we talked about how my hotel used to be the ones school and they were all over all very nice and doing as best and as quickly as possible.
I’m going to give a 2 . The food was fantastic, however…… Wendy’s you can do better! The wait time for the drive in was 25 minutes. Not considered fast food. Staff was friendly!Recommended dishesCheeseburger
I have gone to this Wendy’s multiple times and have been nothing but disappointed most of the time. Each time I go I either A don’t receive what I order, or B get treated with the most horrible customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. And then when I go up to the window I get told that I am holding up the line because my order was wrong. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going. I wish I could’ve gotten that horrible worker‘s name
Enjoy this Wendy's but you need to get enough staff to keep the place Opened and especially for Dine In Orders. Take Out Line is taking WAY too long. I'm here every weekend to get my MIL a burger before I visit her in a nursing home at the top of the hill. I waste on average > 18 Minutes for a burger/frosty for her to enjoy. Not sure it's worth ~ 20 min a week. Might have to just order Pizza from Fazio at the top of the hill and call it a day. Please don't make me switch Wendy's.....
My chili is cold! I just bought food from here and opened it up about 3 minutes after purchasing and the chili is barely room temperature. This is completely unacceptable. This is actually a food safety health hazard. Also my order was wrong. Everything is basically room temperature at most. I have been to this location many times because it's one of the only places to go late at night and almost every single time my order is either bad or wrong. I'm going to make a phone call to corporate tomorrow.
This is THE WORST fast food establishment I’ve ever been to. They repeatedly “close early” and pretend to be cleaning the area, when in reality, they just don’t want to work. I went at 11p when they were suppose to close at 1a and they were “mopping the floors” but wouldn’t answer us. Very disappointing. If they don’t want to actually work, another food establishment should take its place.
The food is good, with absolutely no complaints there... However, the customer service is the worst. Half the time the lobby is closed and they seem to pick and choose when that is and don't post when reopening on the door or anywhere. They were extremely rude and wanted me to go through drive thru because I was using cash and they didn't have a drawer in lobby cash register. The nice gentleman at drive thru window came over to inside counter to get my order without any complaints. He made up for the older guy yelling at me about how I can't pay with cash Inside.
Something jus doesn't feel right. Feels like someone is playing with our food. Super stale fries , no condiments, and to really make it weird we ordered dr pepper and sprite ,but they mixed our drinks with tea and fruit punch. Disgusting as hell. I know it's fast food, but don't do us like that .
It's 10:30pm on a cool autumn Saturday night, fresh from the bars. "I'm bored." " Wendy's?" We arrive by foot to Butler and 40th to the red monolith, a beacon of mediocrity and affordability in a sea of drink spots and hipster eateries. The drive through is packed to the end of the lot. "Looks like the inside is empty, must be closed after 10." "Call Tim to drive over here instead and we can hop in the drive through." The 4 of us shiver like junkies, waiting in the corner of the parking lot. We see the tallest could easily reach and steal sign letters. A silver civic pulls up and Tim gets out. We embrace. He's the last member of our 2 year reunion. "Are you hungry?" "Yeah." One more car enters the drive through line. 'Hi welcome to Wendy's, what can I get for you?' "Can I get a 6 piece nugget?" 'What sauce?' "BBQ." 'Anything else?' "Yeah, could I get a 10 piece spicy nugget meal with Dr. Pepper?" 'What sauce?' "What sauce?" "Why are you translating, he's the one driving." We laugh. "Ranch." 'Okay is that all?' 3 seconds of silence... 'Okay your total is $11.38, please pull forwar-' "Uhh actually could I add a 4 for 4 double stack with a frosty?" Furious cancelling and reentering ensues. 'Could you repeat that?' "Can I get a 4 for 4 double stack?" 'That doesn't exist.' "What?" "Yeah they changed it so you can only get that with the biggie bag, you have to get a junior cheeseburger." "Oh, junior cheeseburger then please." 'Sauce?' "BBQ." 'Drink?' "Vanilla frosty." Silence. 'We're close to closing, no frosty's.' Silence. "Okay sprite then." 'Alright is that all?' "Brandon, do you want anything?" "Nah." "No that's all." 'Your total is $15.83, please pull forward.' We move forward next to the window. So close yet so far. The exchange looks like the Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel - Tim's left arm span is barely enough to hand his credit card over to the worker leaning half out the window. She's miffed. We get our food in a similar matter, mission success. 11:05pm the car loops back to the parking lot with our loot, the drive through queue hasn't gotten any shorter. "Hey where's my sandwich?" "I don't think you get one with your nugget meal." "You can have mine, I wasn't actually hungry." "Yeah we ate like 3 hours ago." We eat. "Let's pull back in and order 5 frosty's." Without hesitation we're in line again. After talking and joking, things have gotten real. We're almost at the order station and there are cars behind. "Let's spare her." And we drive off into the night. An hour and a half later, we've said our goodbyes. I make the lonely walk back to my car. The night is cold but I begin to smile as I pass a familiar sight - Wendy's. The lights are now off, the frosty machine is comfortably retired for the night, and the tired workers have all gone home. It's 12:30am. There are still 4 cars waiting in the drive through line. I grin wider as they slowly take turns chancing the order station and giving up. More cars turn into the lot. 5/5 Worker was a saint all things considered.
