The staff was very helpful and not pushy at all when we had questions they answered them and left us alone to continue searching then would check in periodically to make sure we were okay then disappear and not pressure the sale. We replaced all of the dishes in our house the staff wrapped each dish individually packaged them in boxes and then gave us West Elm totes to take them home in this was a great experience. Also there sea salt soap is amazing.

I really like West Elm and the values that they stick to. The fact that they try to have sustainable, organic, and ethical products. But the few times I have been in to buy something it seemed like the workers didn't know what they were doing, I felt like I needed to help them find something or get something working. Which it could have just been a bad day, I understand that. But another time I got that Julia Roberts Pretty Woman look where the sales associate is judging my buying capability and thus treats you accordingly. It was just a little disappointing and off-putting. Nonetheless, I will still continue to shop here.

I frequently shop here and ordered two chairs six months ago. The chairs took several months for delivery and when they finally arrived, were the wrong chairs! The salespeople do not have any information on the delivery schedule and are either uninformed or incorrect when you ask questions. If you are buying something here, you should only purchase something that is available on the floor. If you order any furniture for delivery, it is an incredibly frustrating experience. Since my experience was so bad, I now shop at Echelon, which has similar styles and price points. The sales staff here is very nice but they just don't know what is going on.

Love the products but after an hour of being there NOT A SINGLE PERSON EVEN GREETED US, LET ALONE HELPED US TRY AND MAKE A PURCHASE. NO worries though, I mad my large purchase of outdoor patio furniture online and it was easy as pie!!! Thanks for showing me, my friend (it was her first time at the store that I always rave about) and our daughters how NOT to treat other human beings. We have NEVER been treated so poorly in a store before. The people working we're obviously too engaged in their own conversation to be bothered to stop and help anyone. Will definitely head to salt lake instead of Boise next time I wish to go to West elm.
