Five stars across the board! Hands down this shop does the best work at a great price and the only shop that I have found that actually let me go back there and watch them do the work...!  They're knowledgeable, know what they're doing and  the work they do proves that... I appreciate them taking the time to be patient and explain to me in a way that I can understand  what's going on with my car in the best possible solution.  Thank you for your Honesty,, integrity and treating me with Respect..

Kim and his employees were very helpful and understanding. I loved how he was willing to work with me and take the time out of his day to help me get a diagnostics on my car. I had to reset the battery so we weren't able to get a reading. They drove the car around for about an hour trying to get the check engine light to turn back on. They made a few educated guesses and fillled the antifreeze and gave a the car a computer relearn for free. They told me to come back when it came on because there is really nothing they could do. As soon as I started the car I got a check engine light on and they were excited to see it and get a reading to help me out! They called all around salt lake trying to find a throttle body but no one had it. They were so generous and wanted to genuinely help me out with my vehicle. Not just make money. Not only that Kim and his employees would sit with us and chat with us about all the questions we had and not give me looks for asking too many questions. I would highly recommend coming here, it is a smaller business but they will personally remember you. My mom, and sister have been coming here for years. They don't go anywhere else because they know they can trust him as a mechanic! Overall great business.

This is the only car shop I trust and go to anywhere in the valley. I live by Parley's canyon and I will drive out of my way just to come here. These guys are quick, honest and reliable. Kim has been nothing but good to me and has always treated me fair and is always kind and super helpful,  I always get phone calls that keep me up to date on what's going on if I have to leave my vehicle and I ALWAYS leave satisfied. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that this shop be your first choice.. you will not be disappointed. By far the best car shop in Salt Lake City. 5 stars all the way..

I live across town but in my opinion it's worth coming here when I have problems with my car. Kim always charges me reasonable prices & fixes whatever is wrong within the day of. I've been to Tunex's around the valley & would not reccomend any of them. Kim is very trustworthy & honest. Calls and keeps me updated. I would definitely reccomend West Valley Car Care with your car needs.

Kim is great! Not only did he fix my car in record time, he referred me to a great tow truck company, made sure I was getting the best deal, and took the time to explain what I was paying for. I am definitely going back next time I need a repair!

Edit: another great trip to Kim! We recently purchased a new car and had Kim check it out for us before purchase. Not only did he give me the black and whire details of the car simplistically and without making me feel like I was out of my knowledge zone, he explained potential road blocks, how to fix them should it occur, and the cost it would take so we were fully prepared for the purchase. Recently, we had the reverse lights go out on that car. Jiffy lube couldnt fix it or figure it out, but I brought it to Kim and was out again in 5 minutes with a fixed car. I would highly recommend this shop! Always great fast service, someone I can trust, and they have AMAZING prices.
