The mission of the Friends of the Westborough Public Library is to stimulate the use of the library and its resources; to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community; to provide direct financial assistance by purchasing for the library special and unusual items which have not been provided for in the budget, but which the Friends deem beneficial to the library; and to support and enlarge the library’s scope in the community and to provide the library with passes to various local museums which can be loaned to library patrons.
