WBW has been my shop for 7 years now. They've built me new wheelsets, helped me solve problems, and adjusted my fussy Campagnolo to perfection. Love these guys.

My wife and I are recent arrivals from the east coast, after a week or so of living in the city we decided to get bikes because it's so much easier to get around then in a car. A search for the best rated bike shops in Portland led me to western bikeworks and I couldn't be happier. When we first entered the shop I didn't plan on buying anything, simply beginning my research. The staff were so helpful and the selection was so large that we were both able to find bikes that fit our needs for less then I was planning on spending. I returned a week our so later and had a set of aluminum fenders and rear rack installed on my cannondale (my wife's felt came with them installed.) Again the guys at western bikeworks exceeded my expectations. They even called the next day to say my fenders had gone on sale so they were refunding the difference back to my card! $30!! This will be my bike shop going forward.

There are some great people here. Some better than others, but generally one of the better shops in Portland.

I have had very few solidly good experiences with bike shops. This was an exception. They spent tons of time with me finding the right bike and the right fit. I usually run into a lot of toxic masculinity and pretentiousness at bike shops, but I never felt that in the many hours I've spent with the 10 or so people I talked to there. Their customer service is top notch (as someone who hates being sold to), and I couldn't recommend them more.
