I dropped off the control unit for my electric skillet 09-15-17 to see if they could replace the cord. The Service attendant told me the electrical repairman was out but would be back any moment. "He will look at this and let you know 'right away' whether or not he can fix it."
No call

09-20-17, after not hearing from him, I called. "He will be in at 1:00 and I'll have him call you." 
No call

09-22-17, I called and spoke with 'Sam' who told me he'd looked at it. "I think it can have this done for you tonight or tomorrow. I'll call."
No call

09-26-17, I called and was told Sam was out but would call me as soon as he got in. 
No call

09-28-17, 10:45am,  I called and spoke with a woman who told me, "Sam is right here. I'll talk with him and call you RIGHT back." (HER emphasis)
No call

09-28-17, 1:00pm, I called and Sam answered. He told me that since the control was riveted closed, he couldn't open it up to change the cord. 
I said, "You've had this two weeks and you JUST NOTICED it's riveted?"
He answered, "Well, I might have tried to call you, uh..., I don't know."

I just returned with my cord.

Always enjoy my trips to this store. The people are always friendly.  They really make the store.

This is one of the better Westlake Aces. The location is great. Right in the middle of Brookside. They always seem to have those odd little items you can't find anywhere else.
