My daughter and I broke down and called for a tow at 3pm Sunday. We were told they would be there in 90 mins. Two hours later I called asking how much longer. I was told they were short staffed and would call me before they came. I ended up calling another company who had our car home within thirty minutes. This company never called and their counter help needs training.

I was way overcharged for the work done.

I took my car in because it wouldn't start and it had a rather large oil leak. Not super familiar with cars so I took it there because I was told would get a 10% discount through AAA (this was the first white lie).

Had the car towed there in the morning 9am or so, and I called them, they said it would be $72 for two diagnostic charges and that if I had the repairs done they would be waived. They said they would call me back and let me know what was going on. I didn't receive a call from them at all the first day, so I called them mid-day to get an update. They basically told me no one had looked at my car yet.

The following day I get a call, turns out that my battery died and then they were very vague about the oil issue. Said that the oil cap was cracked, but there might also be a hole somewhere or that there might be something undiscovered. They quoted me $350 for the repairs in total instead of itemizing it over the phone. Like an idiot I agreed because I assumed the oil leak fiasco was a big problem and I thought that's where the large cost was coming from.

When I get to the shop, turns out it was only a cracked oil cap and a bad battery, all that other oil stuff was just malarkey. So I ended up paying $350 to replace a battery and an oil cap. Bill was as follows:

So I thought I was paying for some big leak issue, but it turns out they bought the most expensive battery and oil cap possible, and then charged me about $100 to install both of them. Yes that's right it takes the same amount of time to install an oil cap that it does a battery. Also it turns out that there is only a 10% discount if you use cash.

When I called to challenge the labor cost of the oil cap, Pat the manager came up with some story about how they accidentally charged me labor for the oil cap because there was confusion with the two diagnostic fees being waived. 

He offered to remove the cost of one diagnostic fee from the oil cap labor charge and keep the difference. It sounded like he made this up on the spot to cover for the overcharge. I got angry, told him to keep his money and hung up the phone.

Do not go here, I accept that it's my fault for agreeing to the cost without really knowing the itemized cost, but THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I posted a screenshot of the actual bill also.

Their Towing was ok. The Towing guy was efficient. Their customer service 1 star or less in the repair shop. Will never go back. They were rude and totally unhelpful.

I can honestly not say enough good things about this place! They are seriously the best! From there prices to customer service is just top notch! I have had to be on the phone with different people from this company numerous times, I don't know if they can tell I'm a novice with cars or they just treat every customer this way, but each individual has been amazing! I had the same exact thing happen to a previous car, westland car care is charging me half the price of their competitor! I have already started recommending this place to friends and family, even the cashier at 7/11! My cars will always come here when they need something.
