Welcome to the website of Santee chiropractor Dr. Wayne Whalen and Whalen Chiropractic. Our mission is to provide excellence in patient care through a collaboration with our patients. We pride ourselves on a reliance on evidence-based care, meaning we try to provide recommendations and treatment based on the best available scientific evidence. Dr Whalen has more than 25 years of experience, following 10 years as an ER Nurse and Life Flight helicopter nurse.

He served at President of the California Chiropractic Assn, and Chairman of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters. He lectures to other doctors, and has a consulting business to help other chiropractors develop evidence-based practices.

Dr Whalen was highly recommended by a family member. In just a month and a half I have noticed a big difference. I am feeling much better! Dr Whalen has been great in explaining my injury & how I can help strengthen, showing me exercises that will help along with his adjustments.

Dr. Nicole Odell is amazing. My wife and I have been seeing her for about a month now and my back pain has improved drastically. My wife had issues with her neck and jaw, with her treatment, she is feeling amazing.

This is one of the best healing places I have been to. They gave me the same day appointment when I really needed it. The office is clean and people are extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Whalen is a highly trained professional who explained in detail all my treatment process including anatomic structure, muscle dysfunction and complete remedial therapy. He has an excellent ability to treat and teach you how to handle and support his therapy at home by simple exercises and change of life style. I am glad I was referred to this facility. I have already recommended it to many friends.

Dr.Polk is awesome! 3 characteristics things that can definitely describe him are; friendly, personable and funny. I first went to see him after I had a surfing shoulder injury that wouldn’t go away after a month. The pain in my shoulder went away within a day after my first adjustment and I’ve been seeing Dr.Polk for over four years now. I’m an active dental hygienist that trains mixed martial arts. His regular chiropractic care has improved my quality of life and also reducing my migraines. I would recommend him to anybody, you’ll feel right at home.
