I have nothing negative to say about this good and beautiful sized park. The location of this park is pretty hidden, but it's a diamond in the dirt. I have been taking my 3 year old and 4 year old since they we're both less than 8 months, and I've loved the fact then and now, that it doesn't get too packed with unfamiliar strangers,  it's pretty much locals, and some new faces here and there, but your normal run ins with people are friendly ones. I'll definitely recommend this dear and beloved park to anyone around and new that just happens to be in the area or hoping to find a new and safe park to take their children too.

The Claremont Pickleball Association plays at Wheeler Park Saturday mornings, and Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We have five courts on the old roller hockey rink, which is lit at night allowing us to play in the evenings year round. Its a great group of people of all ages and skill level and we embrace people new to the game with loaner equipment and free lessons. Wheeler Park is clean, safe, has convenient restrooms and lots of on street parking.

Nice green park,very well kept playground. The perimeter is great for walking.

Thank you, Claremont city, for supporting this Pickleball group that meets at Wheeler Park. I've been warmly welcomed and have made fabulous, new friends! Most cities focus their park usage on young children and youth sports. However, at age 51, I'm in just as much need of exercise and community as when I was young. This Pickleball group is chill, inclusive to all ages, abilities, and people. I feel young again. I've become active in this group. We love the facility that Claremont has provided us. You Rock, Claremont!!!!
