Wheels by R.T. is a family owned used car dealership that has been in business since 1989. For over 25 years we've been selling the finest vehicles in Northern Illinois. This was my first experience buying a car on my own and Terry was incredibly helpful and very available to answer any questions that we had. He talked us through the entire process and helped me get a car that I really like. I would absolutely return here and work with Terry again in the future the next time we need to get a car.

If you're going to buy a car, do it here! The guys at Wheels by R.T. made my first car buying experience a wonderful one. Trevor was so helpful in finding a car that fit me and my needs. When I was nervous about being able to afford my dream car Terry made it happen. Definitely recommend them!

We had a very good shopping experience at Wheels By RT.  We dealt with Terry Burke and he was very good to deal with.  He was very low pressure unlike the big dealerships here in Rockford. There were many low mile cars.  They were fair priced and gave us a fair price on our trade in.  We will definitely shop there again.

My husband and I have both purchased a car from Terry at Wheels by R.T., and couldn't be more pleased with everything!  Terry is an amazing salesperson, who is very knowledgeable yet isn't pushy.  He worked really hard to get us a good price on our truck and SUV and we will highly recommend coming to him for any car needs.  We will be buying all of a future cars from Wheels by R.T.

By the time I found Wheels by R.T., I had that dealership burn-out mentality. By then, I had been misled and patronized by several dealers, so I fully expected to be treated the same way at WBRT. Boy, was I wrong! I worked with Trevor for the sale, and he was professional, direct, and honest. It was a little surreal because once I told Trevor my down payment and what I could afford, he was so matter-of-fact about the whole thing. I kept saying, “Don’t we have to talk about the numbers?” He kept replying, “We already did.” I didn’t believe him until I started working with Terry for financing. He had the same level of professionalism and honesty. I was still fully expecting to be lied to until Terry turned the monitor toward me to show that my payments would be EXACTLY where I’d said I needed them. No back and forth, no trying to convince me of anything, and no slimy sales tactics. As for the vehicle, it was immaculate, still has the new car smell, and came with a vehicle report. I paid the $39.99 for a CarFax report that backed up everything in the report from WBRT. I rarely write reviews, but more people need to know that there is an alternative to the stressful, exhausting, toxic experience of buying a used car. It’s called Wheels by R.T.
