Though there are other, less pricey natural food stores to frequent in the Puget sound area, Whole Foods is a nice grocery "treat" when I've got a bigger budget. Plus their hot/to-go food area is outstanding! Their bulk section has everything a person could want, they have high quality goods, and it's situated in a nice area. For a slow afternoon, I like to take my time, peruse interesting seasonal veggies, and have lunch with a book. An unexpected place to have a little breather while still being around the buzz of people coming and going.

We love to stop here on our way home from a good bike ride. The pizza and local beer is great! The peeps that work there are pretty cool too!

We love this place. Sometimes we go there to eat a meal and shop after. They have a pizza and beer bar as well as an excellent salad/soup/entree bar stocked with a broad selection.

Overall selection of food is great. Whole foods always carries hard to find items for Vegans. My only complain would be pricing. I prefer whole foods over Marlene's. However Marlene's baked goods & deli I think is better overall in terms of selection (for vegans) than whole foods

It's so nice having a Whole Foods in the south end! Clean, bright, places to eat both inside and outside, a ton of selection and fresh pizza! This place is great! Also, the main entrance has a place to grab a healthy drink while you shop.
