Not at all happy with this place. We have stayed here several times for long periods of time and we did not get our refund. As you can see from other reviews, this is a running theme. They always give the run around stating the owners are on vacation and out of town and to call back and no one has refunded our money. Good luck trying to get the refund the day you check out, as they always say the owners are gone, even when you are there in person. It is a total scam as they charge a total including the refund. If you're total is $400 with a $100 deposit, they charge $500 making it very difficult to contest and fight it. Total organized way to cheat people. We all come to Arizona pretty often and we will never stay here again.

My husband and I were traveling 1-8 to California. The back wheels came off the RV. It took two tow trucks to tow us to this oasis in the middle of nowhere. I called and asked if they minded us being dumped. Right from the start these two people were the nicest helpful people we have met in a long time. They opened their well stocked store after hours to get us water and supplies. When they understood our predicament and how hard it would be to get in a sight they gave us a sight near their home. They came out at almost midnight to direct the tow truck drivers. If your looking for spas and total RV luxury this spot is not for you. The owners were upfront about a weak wifi signal. No problem I have yet to stay in a park where this is not an issue. We have stayed in many resorts and only a couple have come close to the hospitality we felt here. Loved the rooster...beats the trains that most parks have. Loved the fresh eggs they sell. A nice spot for the price. If ever in the area would definitely give them our business. Thanks again for that Midwestern Hospitality. Very hard to come by today.

Had a fantastic stay. We arrived very late and the staff met us at the front door and helped us find our spot. Extremely helpful and kind. 10 pm quiet hours were nice. The psrk is far enough from everything we could see every star and hear none of the highway. Roads were wide enough for our huge rig to turn and maneuver. They have a nice small office with a shop with plenty of drinks and snacks for my kids. Would stay again. Thanks!

The resort it's self was fine . We would difinately go again ,but the only reason we wouldn't is the cattle smell. Stock yards are all over down the highway so there is no way of getting away from the smells. I couldn't open my doors or windows the whole month. Even in Maricopa the smell at times was terrible. Wish this RV resort was in another location far far away from the cattle lots. The resort and people were great.

BAD PARK ALERT Wild West RV Resort (NOT), Maricopa AZ 1. Gave away our prepaid reserved spaces and had no other adequate spaces available. Eventually gave us other people's reserved spaces. 2. Owner refused to come into office to provide refund (so we could go home). Other online complaints about refused refunds. 3. Extremely dilapidated. Owners don't need to keep up maintenance because campers have no other RV park choices in any of this part of Arizona in the winter without reservations made a year in advance. 4. This is not a resort, unless you count the copious amount of liquor sold in the store. I didn't see anything else for sale. 5. Besides, the office/store is only open sporadically. A camper leaving at 10 am, had to leave a note on the door offering to make payment if they called him back. 6. The website is quite impressive. It boasts an RV wash for a $10 fee. That RV wash was a hose (with no water pressure) on the side of a building. Clubhouse is a locked tumble-down, dusty building with old construction materials inside and out. Though, I did see a bookcase with books on it. Too bad campers can't get to them. 7. Park is in rural area with unpleasant farm odors. 8. Bath houses kept clean, but zero water pressure in showers. Not enough water to wash off soap. No cleaning service on Sundays, so no toilet tissue in bathrooms. 9. Advertised in Passport America catalog, but is no longer a member. (I wouldn't doubt PA dropped them for low quality standards). They now charge more than their advertised PA price. 10. This is the worst park I've stayed in in 17 states
