Avoid corporate medicine at all costs. At my initial appointment techs were actually RUNNING around trying to work under whatever time constraints they had been put under. This place is an embarrassment to dentistry. Cancelled all appointments and changed insurance. It's that bad.

My wife is a patient at Willamette Dental Group. She is seeing Dr. Lindsay Taira. She was just in getting a tooth worked on this past Tuesday the 11th. She was seen because of intense pain and she wanted to get some measure of relief. During the procedure, she was shocked by extreme pain. She was supposed to be fully numb but she was not (obviously) and Dr. Taira hit a nerve or something. The dentist at that point gave her an additional shot of novicaine, then instead of waiting until it kicked in (seconds after the shot).. poked her in the same spot, causing intense pain! At that point, the dentist let it set in only after hurting her twice. She then asked for nitrous to offset the intense and throbbing pain and along with intense anxiety. The Dr. seemed irritated by this request for some reason. After the procedure, she abruptly left without ensuring things were well or instructions of after care. Frankly, it was very cold. We paid, confirmed a future cleaning  (not a full root canal) and left.  The days after she left had continuous off and on pain. No check in or anything from this so called dentist. Last night my wife was eating a snack. She then screamed out and complained about intense pain. She was SCREAMING in pain. I called your on call dentist (Winters, I think) and was informed that all the nerve tissue may not have been extracted hence her extreme pain. Again, she was SCREAMING in pain. It's the worst pain she has ever had!!!!  She took some intense pain meds and was able to finally relax after almost an hour or so. This morning, she is in in intense pain. It's not only a Sunday but a holiday, where am I going to find someone to help her today? This is absolutely unacceptable, in fact it is atrocious that the procedure was not completed to remove her from pain. Then the doctor did not check in, and gave her NO warning to avoid that area while eating. She's had the same procedure done a few times, never had pain like this. No urgency was given to completing the appointment. The whole experience was simply rotten. She was in pain and you left her in pain! She was a dollar sign and not a patient.  This situation is 100 percent worse because of a Dr. that decided that the next patient was more important than the quality of work on her current patient. Willamette Dental Group is obviously incapable of even hiring a dentist that can properly numb someone up! The most basic of procedures to avoid putting some through an insane amount of pain. This Dr. Just graduated and if she couldn't do the work, she should have had the decency to get a more experienced Dentist to see my wife. Thanks for putting my wife in the worst pain of her life. I intend to run this all the way to the State Dentistry Board and get this Dentists license revoked so she can't do this to anyone else.

Root canal - Dr Bayat was great. He did the procedure with virtually no pain. Not what I was expecting at all. Everything was on schedule, I was in and out of the office faster than I thought would be possible.

I visited this office yesterday and I had the most amazing experience. I went in with the most horrific tooth pain and my dentist, Dr. Bayat was right in there to get me numbed up to get me out of pain. He was amazing and letting me know exactly what was going on every step of the way and why he was doing certain things. The compassion that Dr. Bayat and his assistant Ramona provided me was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know. Thank you Willamette Dental for have exceptional staff.
