I really liked this park. Peaceful setting with lots of field space. The surrounding neighborhoods have super fancy houses which are fun to walk by.... The playground was really fun for my little guy too. Only thing is that cars zoom by pretty fast on the street surrounding....

What a beautiful park with tons of room for everything. There are so many great activities for kids too. Fairytale town often has free days (sign up for emails), the zoo is right there, and funderland is a lot of fun too. There’s also horse rides in the park and a cool pond  to throw bread for the ducks and geese.

Beautiful municipal city park. Large, well kept, and well used by families and soccer teams (girls and attending family units) that enjoy the playing fields in their organized  youth team sports. A real gem.

Fun and family friendly. This place has it all: running trails, a zoo (with a lion!), Fairytale Town (complete with a castle AND a crooked mile) and last but not least Funderland (think kid-sized amusement park). The park appears to be riff-raff free and is a great place for family fun, couples time or a solo stroll. 

Again, the zoo has a lion! Come on people.

One of oldest largest parks in  Sacramento. Located in heart of historical old Land Park neighborhood; has a large variety of beautiful mature shade trees, picnic areas, Fairy Tale Land, a Zoo, horseback riding, and golfing.   Two ponds with birds and a walking trail for those who like outside exercising.  A great place for the family to gather.  Food trucks on some Thursday's. The upkeep of the park grounds used to be better though...why I rated it 4 stars.
