This is our first time there. Garbage plate, milkshake and the burger was good.  We had  stake sub. It was not good at all. It was just meat and cheese sauce. quesadilla was not ok. But not the best. Price was very reasonable.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes

Got there around 9 pm, the dining room was closed which I learned was due to staffing issues. I ordered the 2x4 with Hamburger meat, Home Fries and Macaroni Salad. The food was everything I imagined and one of the reasons I wanted to stop by Rochester. Absolutely crushed the food.

Two plates to go. Cheeseburgers White Hots Both plates had Home Fries, Beans, lots of meat hot sauce, chopped onions, some mustard, and a roll. Probably over two pounds of ferris. Very tasty.  Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian burgers available.  Kid-friendliness: They do have kid portions, table seating for families is satisfactory.  Parking: Private lot, was plenty of parking when I got there.  Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly easy access. I don&#39;t remember any step ups.  Dietary restrictions: This is a burger joint that survivalists in &quot;grease fire peace&quot; plates.  They do have vegetarian options. Not sure their offerings are what restricted diet needs would be.  Maybe. I wasn&#39;t scoping it out for that.

I’m a frequent customer of wimpy’s on Buffalo road. I’ve been really disappointed with their food and service for the past two months. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt because I’ve had great experiences with them. The food has been lackluster and carelessly thrown together. This time I received all flat wings, barely any sauce and a few fries scattered in the mix that I’m sure came from the bottom of the oil they were fried it. Do better!

Poor experience!  The staff was unfriendly, the woman at the register was actually playing on her phone while taking my order.  No hi, no thanks,  no good bye.  Food was ok, my wife's burger was undercooked and pink in the middle. Restaurant was full of smoke.  I had to clean my own table because it was dirty.   One of the styrofoam cups they gave me for my drink had black grime on the rim.  Im not going back, once was enough for me.

The food was really good, the service was  ordinary.  Some nice Halloween decor.Food: 5/5

Food: GREAT! It was HOT, FRESH, and ready when said it would be. Service: FANTASTIC !  Greeted within seconds of entering the building, front counter person IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZED for the mess. This facility was in the renovation stage, adding a pizza island, oven, and seating. Atmosphere:  only a "4*"  but only because of the renovations... Overall: I love the service, and food. Definitely a 5* facility Buffalo Rd., GATES.

The thought of this place place made me homesick. The biggest difference between this place and any other restaurant offering "hots plates" is their burger patties, they're delicious. Hot sauce is good, Mac salad good.... I can't say anything bad about Wimpy's Burger Basket. I only wish we'd could get this place out in Kansas!

Why can I not get a cheese dog! This is the second time I have asked and I can not get cheese on my hot dog...is it hard to do? Can someone please tell me if this a #rochesterny rule..WOW...I finally came back for more 3 years later. Very busy but we had no problems getting in and out fast. I tried the Greek chicken wrap meal deal it was perfect. I see a lot of new menu options.

I only came here because one of my friends is a fan of Wimpy's. For the life of me, I can't figure out why.  I got the garlic parm wings and the buffalo chicken fingers. Completely disappointed. Made me want to stick my fingers down my throat and force myself to vomit. I forced myself to eat because I paid for my food and was hungry, not because I wanted to.  The food is simply... not tasty, especially considering how loaded with Calories everything is. My body was constantly questioning why I was consuming such trash. I would rather down protein powder that tastes like chalk than go here.  Restaurant atmosphere is dismal. Dining here was not a pleasant experience.  I would much rather go to a fast-food chain like Wendy's, Taco Bell, Burger King, or McDonalds – food is cheaper and 100% more satisfying at any of those places.  There's actually a Burger King less than a minute away from here. You'd be much better off going there.
