This is probably the best Winn-Dixie I've ever visited.  I stopped in here last week during my lunch break to pick up one item and received attention from several employees; I believe one was also the manager.  I found the item I needed and walked around the store a bit because I had time to kill.  Every time I encountered an employee they were friendly, smiling, and asked if they could help.  

The shelves were well stocked and orderly, and the overall appearance of the store was very clean.  When I was finally ready to check out, I went to one of the registers with a light on but didn't see a cashier.  I did a quick look around and started over to another register that was lit up.  Before I could leave the line, the manager was over and called an employee to help me.  Excellent service!  I would have been happy to get in another line but this was wonderful attention.  The cashier apologized (unnecessary but appreciated) and said he was helping a new employee since it was her first day.  He had a great attitude and made our brief interaction pleasant.  

I live in Tampa but work in NPR so I probably won't make this my go to store just because of distance.  But it will definitely be the one i go to should I need anything while I'm at work.

Went there today asked the boy in frozen foods for help and best answer i could get from him was i dont know asked if he could get someone to help me and and told me a manager was aroynd somewhere but would not get anyone for me. In all the years ive shopped here this was the worst experience ive ever had.

National brands are cheaper here compared to the dominant grocery store chain based out of Lakeland. Some of the employees are friendly and helpful, some are downright rude. It's not my primary grocery store, but it's useful when my primary is out of stock or just closed.
