This scenic railroad will delight adult and child alike.  The views of Lake Winnipesaukee from the Laconia and Meredith shoreline are spectacular.  The train employees and entertainers are locals and add to the down home experience.

We like riding the scenic rails in lake Winnipesaukee .
We suggest doing the one hour trip it is well worth it.
 It's very enjoyable and the View is absolutely awesome from the train. 
The people whom work there are welcoming warm and friendly. 
you will not regret it my girlfriend and I go every chance we get.

An enjoyable ride with a really good turkey dinner from Harts, the turkey carved table-side, excellent stuffing, mashies and squash on the side.  The food steamed up the windows, inhibiting the view, but all in all, a fun afternoon.
