Winter Moving & Storage, an Atlas Van Lines Agent, has been an established award winning moving and storage agency for over 30 years. The Owner and President, John Winter, and his father, purchased Helmuth Moving from Don and Ethel Helmuth in 1979.

Story

Winter Moving & Storage is located at 2710 SE Otis Corley Dr., in Bentonville, Arkansas. With our new 40,000 square ft., climate controlled warehouse, Winter Moving & Storage is poised to meet any and every moving and/or storage need for our customers. This Northwest Arkansas Company can meet the unique needs of each individual person or even extensive, detail-orientated office relocations. Individual relocations may occur for various reasons… ranging from job changes, retirement, to growth of families or health reasons.

“Statistically, moving is rated as one of the top five most stressful life situations,” Winter states, “ everyone on our team from office to field personnel understand this and strive to not only provide top-quality service, but also meet the needs and concerns of each individual."

Due to the growth in the Northwest Arkansas area, the need for office relocations has increased. Winter Moving & Storage crews have successfully moved a number of predominant businesses in the area which include six public libraries, real estate offices, laboratories and corporate offices. In addition, the Winter Moving & Storage sales staff has worked in conjunction with companies of various sizes to design and implement employee relocation policies and packages that ensure a competitive advantage in today’s job market.

Products

Located in Northwest Arkansas, we are a full-service agent for Atlas Van Lines, inc. the second largest van line in the country. Residential, commercial, and international moving services are available, along with climate controlled storage and packing services. Should you need it, our climate controlled storage is second to none. Some of our customers need this service when there is a lapse in between moving out of their old home or business before the other is ready to be moved into.

Whether you're moving across the street or across the world, our team is ready to help. The map on the page shows a general illustration of what is local and where long distance begins (please understand it is simply a guideline). Anything outside of Arkansas and an approximate 50 mile radius of Bentonville is considered long distance. Anything within Arkansas and a 50 mile radius is typically considered a local move. All shipments that are relocated within in the state of Arkansas are run under Winter Moving & Storage, Inc. Arkansas Authority and any relocations moving out or in the state of Arkansas are run under the Atlas van Lines, Inc. Interstate Authority. Winter Moving & Storage is a fully licensed and insured moving company. Our insurance coverage spans from the starting point of your move to the final destination. A client representative will help you decide on the amount of protection you will need and explain the price structure for each plan.
