We've been to KOA's all over the country. This one exceeds even the most exotic locations because the owners and staff are soooo friendly and accommodating. Love, love, love this location!

I've been staying here every year for hunting season the past 15 years. I've camped in tents and rv and also stayed in the cabins. All stays were awesome. Good people and staff.

The park is close to town and very large, The owners are so friendly and helpful. The sites are a good size, level, and well kept. They also have cabins and a shuttle to town.

This KOA is clean and pretty well organized. The staff is also helpful and friendly. The KOA is right near the beautiful town of Winthrop, which deserves a good half day to explore. The KOA is right next to the river so no matter where you're staying, you can hear the rush of the water. My biggest complaint is I found myself waiting to use the bathroom or shower often times in excess of twenty minutes. Even if I'd walk to the other side of camp or go at a different time, id still wait longer than ten minutes just to use the bathroom. I'd say to plan as best you can, but that only gets you so far. Overall I'd recommend the camp as it has proximity to a lot of great attractions and is clean with great accomodations.
