Mission

The WOBURN ANIMAL HOSPITAL MISSION is to provide the best medicine to every animal that walks through the door in a compassionate and professional environment.

We believe in advanced technology. Our equipment is state-of-the-art. Our X-rays are digital. Our surgeries are minimally invasive. Our extensive in-house lab allows us to get results on a dime.

We believe in giving animals the same care we'd expect for ourselves. We offer every pet owner the top-of-the-line gold standard of care, and allow them to cherry pick the treatment plan of choice.

We believe in preventative care. Preventing illness versus treating illness is what we strive for. We encourage vaccinations, wellness exams, senior blood tests, dental cleanings, and dietary management among other ways to PREVENT illness or to catch it early.

We believe in offering alternatives. Surgery-free, drug-free, pain-free alternative therapies include animal acupuncture, laser therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine.

We believe in going no further. Our hospital is equipped to handle just about every medical or surgical procedure in small animal medicine!

We believe in giving back to the community. We host tours for schools. We have a shadow-a-vet program. We have a volunteer program. We rehabilitate sick or injured wildlife.

We believe in the advancement of medical knowledge. Our team is continually trained and re-trained to keep up with the changes in the field. Specialists come in to lecture regularly during staff meetings. The Veterinarians attend annual veterinary conferences and continued education seminars.

The LEDGEBROOK KENNEL MISSION is to provide safe, clean, comfortable temporary housing to dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

We believe that fresh air is the key to a sanitary environment, so our indoor-outdoor runs and our spacious play yards are exhilarating to the guests and good for their health.

We believe that daily exercise is an important component to pet care, which is why we offer playtime for dogs as well as for cats.

We believe in sending every pet home clean as a dog whistle. Full bathing services are available to all boarders, as well as an on-premises, professional groomer.

We believe that every pet deserves a comfortable environment. Accommodations are ALWAYS made for the old, the unwell, the diabetic, the special needs.

We believe in embracing each guest as part of our family. We build relationships with our four-legged residents so that they remember us fondly the next time they visit. Even nervous or defensive pets learn to love us as they do you.
