Women’s Health of Central Massachusetts is an independent 10-physician ob/gyn physician aimed at providing state-of-the-art obstetric and gynecologic care to patients from adolescence through menopause. I am a patient of Dr Fortis, who has given me wonderful care since 2016. I just recently had my fourth son and found myself being cared for a lot at the end by Dr Amir. He was great, I ended up having an induction due to high blood pressure, Dr Amir was on that night as well. Everything went smoothly and quick. I just wanted to leave a review about how awesome both of these Drs are. Thank you for bringing two of my children safely into this world.

Everyone here is extremely friendly. Very welcoming and helpful. Any questions or concerns I had, they were all willing to listen and help me out. Since it was my first visit, I am hoping to have the names right .. Kay at the front desk, Gloria, Dr Fields nurse and Dr Fields were exceptional! I am so thankful I switched to them!!

Both of my pregnancies I was taken care of by Dr Forti and she was absolutely fantastic. I’ve waited a year to post this, my daughter was born 11/2/22. Dr Wilson delivered my second baby, it was a very fast delivery, 90 minutes from the time I had a contaction at home to when my daughter was born at UMass. I couldn’t have an epidural and I was absolutely hyperventilating and in a tremendous amount of pain. I couldn’t help but cry out in pain and she scolded me a couple of times telling me yelling “wasn’t productive” and “not helping”. I think about this almost daily, I hope someone sees this and knows in my most terrified and vulnerable moment I was also made to feel embarrassed. I’m so grateful for a healthy baby but wow I still struggle with that day and it was the worst experience. I’m so glad I’m done having babies after that.

I used this practice back in 2014, when I gave birth to my first child. I was barely 20 when I had my child, but the experience has been long lasting, and not in a positive way. Before I went in, I'd asked for no medical assistants in the room. This wish was disregarded. I asked for no unnecessary medical interventions, and that was disregarded when I was given an episiotomy with no informed consent, and prior to even being ready to start pushing. I was sewn back together, but it never healed correctly it was sewn by the medical assistant and ended up being a huge contribution to severe PPD. I couldn't use the bathroom for a month without sobbing everytime. While at the hospital, the nurses kept taking my child for off reasons, one being a "government mandated blood test" which I learned after wasn't even a thing, the first night they scared me by telling me he wasn't breathing and he was aspirating, and a whole bunch of different reasons I can't remember. I was so upset for those two days, because short "we'll bring him back in 15 minutes" turned into 2 hours every time. I mourn every so often that I had trusted my doctor at the time, Amy Chang. She is no longer practicing, but regardless... I just wanted to share my experience.

Everyone was wonderful at my 12 wk check-up apart from the ultrasound tech. She wasn’t very friendly and wasn’t open to questions. My husband was with me and agreed. It was really disappointing as we’ve had a great experience with WHCM in general. Also, she spent a lot of time pushing on my uterus, trying to get the baby at certain angles for genetic testing purposes. I get that, but she didn’t acknowledge AT ALL that it could be uncomfortable, much less apologize for the prolonged discomfort. It was 15ish minutes of this. It was such an exciting moment that was tainted because of her poor attitude.

Extremely happy with choosing Women's Health of Central MA for my first pregnancy. Everyone is very kind, passionate, and they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole pregnancy. I would highly recommend this group!

Dr. Forti is the best obgyn I've ever seen. Kind, compassionate and easy to talk to. My 2nd pregnancy and delivery was incredible because of her. Office staff is very friendly as well.

I cannot speak to the quality of care as I have not actually been able to be seen. I am very frustrated as a year ago I called to make an appointment and the earliest I could be seen was 3 months later. 1.5 weeks before my appointment it was canceled. I called 3 weeks ago and was told I would get a call back and have not received a return phone call. It is really hard to find an obgyn that takes me insurance and isn't super far away. I'm very disappointed to say the least.

Had an appointment today with Dr. Amy Chang. She was excellent  and .very I formative. Everyone there is so friendly.

Staff are nice and understanding.  Environment is cozy.  They treat patients with kindness and non judgemental.
