Be sure when you cancel your plan to also cancel your automatic payment. I assumed when I canceled my plan and got confirmation they would stop taking money out of my account. Not only did that not happen but any refund will have to wait up to 45 days. Asked on three separate phone calls to speak to a supervisor . They refuse to come to the phone but promise to call back within 24 hours. Actually that's a lie. Also the 877 tel # goes to a call center in Oklahoma not Mass. All they could do was put my request for a refund into their system and sometime within 45 days they hopefully will send me a check. They automatically deducted it from my bank account but they must wait 45 days to send me a check. There is no local tel # to actually talk to someone here in Mass and the call center has very limited ability to resolve any dissatisfaction. The rep put me on hold multiple times to ... talk to her supervisor... who would not come to the phone to talk to anyone directly. This one star is less about the 45 day wait then it is about the refusal of anyone in a supervisory position to remotely attempt to resolve my complaint. Which is mainly to get a letter stating the bounced checks on my bank account we not my fault due to the unauthorized $600 deduction they made the day before the checks were processed by my bank.

The office at 146 Main St. Worcester is awful. The supervisor spends too much time not working. Pushing more work on other employees. If you need to go to their office, go early. today I spend over two and half hours waiting to be called, they never assisted me. Supervisor left crying, leaving only one employee working. She was nice but was overwhelmed. They couldn't assist me, and advised me to come back ”another time”. In over two and half hours I was there, the supervisor stayed in the office for only 15 minutes. Leaving the front desk unattended all this time. the only time she was there, she was aggravated arguing and yelling at consumers.

DO NOT sign up with this insurance! I needed it for my family 3 years ago. After a few months, got a job, no longer needed it. Cancelled it. On and off I keep getting bills in the mail, and every time I call they tell me I am not signed up and they don't see any money owed, must be a glitch in the system. Now I submitted my tax return and they garnished my money because the Executive Office of Health and Human Services had my account in collections. I never got any notice of this. They have my address and phone number on file. Not a letter or a call in 3 years, except for the few bills that I was told don't really exist. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm currently fighting to get my name completely removed from the system. Doubt that will happen.

The walk in center is wonderful. Knowledgeable people really helpful, easy to understand. Fixed everything in just a few minutes with courtesy and understanding and patience. The other reviews reflect frustration with the phone or web site. The walk in center does not have a phone you can call. No phones ring while you are there. These are not the people the majority of these reviews are referring to. If you are having trouble with the website or phones don't waste your time. Go to the walk in center. I'm heading there now to go over my renewal.

Unbelievably awful experience. Signed up this year on December 5 and paid in full for January. December 22, they take out the premium again. When I call the main number, they were beyond useless. No matter how many times I explained, they said that there was no autopay set up and I should contact my bank. Finally sorted it out through the ombudsman's office. They were actually kind of helpful. My advice- If you have trouble, go straight to the Ombudsman's office.
