Had a huge cockroach problem and the property managers have come over several times with pest control but still no resolution. I spoke with the pest control worker and he told me that my neighbors apartment was a pig sty and that it was heavily infested and no matter how much I clean my apartment if the neighbors don't change the problem would persist. I had to move out because the pest problem got to the point that the roaches got into the fridge, clothes, restroom etc etc. Add to that the neighbors play loud annoying mariachi music all hours of the day shaking the walls. The music is so loud that I had to call the cops several times. Also they have 10 people living there and it's a 1 bedroom apartment. I spoke to management about this and they informed me that East Palo Alto has strict laws in regards to evicting tenants which makes it very difficult for them. Another issue is parking. Most of the people here have more then 2 cars. One neighbor has 6 vehicles and it's for 2 people. Everyday I had to ask them to move out of my stall so I could park. If it's not cockroaches, trash, loud annoying music it's the parking. Be careful when you move here and if you decide to make sure you scope out the potential apartment. Management is ok just make sure you record everything with them especially the security lead.

Worst place to live. Management is the worst. And so expensive for an outaded building that they can even get proper laundry machines to work.

Management has since changed and things are much better!!!!

THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They don't return calls or emails! They don't accommodate the disabled and my bathroom is straight out of the 70's!!! I have to turn my shower knobs at least 10 times before water even starts to come out. And theres something growing up under my floor in the living room causing the floor slats to buckle up. I am not a dirty person, and I moved in during the winter months. After showering with the door open regularly, mold started to form on my ceiling in the bathroom like it was growing from under the paint. What was their solution? Clean it off treat the area and paint over it. What if there is mold in the ceiling?!!! They just patch over old stuff and expect it to last?! They are fooling themselves! They spend more in continuously putting band-aid's over big problems that don't last. And then they have to fix it again and again and again! Doesn't make any sense!!!!!! A lot of deception and manipulation from this place!!!!! They won't update the building and I was told the the security gate had been broken for 3 years now and we just have to deal with it. They do business so illegally its ridiculous!!! They should get a negative star rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Building 45 & 55  enjoys the company of a small group of cats, so we don't have a rat issue.  No bug issue here either, maybe U should keep Ur little world cleaner.

I enjoy living in this community! The workers are friendly and helpful. My kids are comfortable and safe and we are looking forward to attending more residential events.
