We are a neighborhood bakery, offering all sorts of treats, including pies, cakes, caneles, sticky buns, almond-glazed pretzels, and more as single order items, and whole cakes and pies as special order items. Come by and have a cup & a slice!
In addition making our own sweet treats, WPA Bakery is the kitchen behind the Hummingbird Cake at Garnett's, the Peanut Butter Pie at The Roosevelt, and the Mexican Chocolate Pie at Ipanema. We have been making some of your favorite desserts (vegan, gluten-free, and otherwise) for years.
WPA Bakery also has a number of other wholesale clients: look for the WPA Bakery cupcakes on the University of Richmond campus, parfaits at the Best Cafe at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and other items available soon through the grocery delivery service Relay Foods.
WPA Bakery is co-owned by baker David Rohrer and restauranteur Kendra Feather (Ipanema Cafe, Garnett's Cafe, The Roosevelt).
