We at Xcellent Auto strive to give you the best work at the best value in the market. We believe in honesty in all phases of our business. We sell what needs to be sold and believe in backing up our work. The cars we sell are inspected by us. We believe in and use our products.

My name is Bob Gullickson and I am the owner of Xcellent Auto Sales and Service. I have been in the automotive trade for more than 30 years. I went through 2 years of college for auto repair. I have worked in new car dealerships most of my career, working specifically with Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Subaru. I previously had a repair shop in Austin, Minnesota, for 5 years [Bob's Auto Service] and owned a used car lot in Waseca, Minnesota [Alternative Auto Sales].

I am an ASE Master certified and Master Chrysler certified. I have worked on just about every kind of vehicle over the years and would be happy to use my experience to benefit you. It will be a pleasure working for you.

Bob the owner and his wife are the best he's quick to help and at Christmas looked at my car for free and told me to just pass it on he's fixed my car on multiple occasions and helped me w my minimal budget I'll ALWAYS go back

I bought my first car from there a couple months ago, been a 16-year-old I didn’t know much about cars or who to trust so it was a difficult finding a car salesman would be honest with me. I don’t know car lingo, and I don’t know how to spot a faulty car but what I do know is that he was more than willing to be honest with me about everything with the car but made in terms that I would understand. I have went there several times after by the car for oil changes, fix ups etc and I 10/10 recommend it to anybody. Especially new car buyers, instead of going to big dealerships or sketchy places that you don’t know if what you’re going to get is gonna work; go here because that’s his motto. He’s always been able to work with me in my schedule, and always finds a way to get my car fixed in a timely manner and it working with my schedule. Him and his wife are very down to earth people who only want the best for the customers and most of the reviews can prove that. There’s always going to be bad customer reviews but take it from the good ones, this is the place to get your car fixed and buy a car at!

My experiences of buying or fixing an auto of mine has always been a very stressful time. Until a good friend recommended me to go to Xcellent Auto and meet Bob. He was very personable and had a lot of knowledge about cars, however he spoke to me so I could understand it. He has said to me many times that the brake pads or worn however it isn't something you'd have to fix now. That's just one of the many times he has saved me money and not using a scare tactic of needing to fix so many things that can wait. I'm going there soon to get an oil change and even after doing just that to my car, you can bet he did something else to your car because it rides so much better. 

Bob does an amazing job on my car and he knows what he is doing. He doesn't come up with a bunch of things that are wrong with your car, he will say you keep an eye on this or that. You'll be fine for quite some time I just want you to be aware. That's a class act and an amazing guy to do business with. Plus you'll get the pleasure of meeting his wife who keeps things together at the front desk. They are a great duo, and grateful to call them my friends now. Thanks Bob and Pam for treating me and many others with respect and kindness. See you soon :)

Bob is great at his work and very reasonable. He's worked on my Chrysler Town and Country, my VW Passat, and on my son's Ford Taurus. He's even shown me once how it was a simple thing I could just do myself. Highly recommended.
