Everybody’s heard the jokes and stories about used car salesman, and I think that stereotype has turned a lot of people off from buying used vehicles in the past. I have always purchased new vehicles in the past, but was determined to find a quality used vehicle this time around. I had heard a lot of positive reports from people who have purchased vehicles from Southpoint Motors, so when I noticed they had a vehicle I was interested in I decided to give them a call. I was extremely impressed from the very first call. The entire staff is very helpful, and the business has a family feel to it. All the employees seem to enjoy their jobs, and that is shown in the customer service. I specifically worked with the owner Troy, and couldn’t have been happier. Troy worked with me to make sure my vehicle could get inspected, and made sure that any issues were taken care of before the purchase. I’ll definitely be a customer in the future.

The best place in Rochester MN to buy a car or truck!! Superior service !! Everyone is very professional and friendly!! Plan on buying future vehicles from them. Don't hesitate to go there, you won't be sorry!!

Southpoint is a great place! I don't review ANYTHING. First time I've purchased the vehicle hassle free and the customer service is top notch. We look forward to purchasing our next vehicle there. I've had the vehicle for a month now. If I experience any rough patches with the vehicle or Southpoint, I will be sure to note them here.

UPDATE:  One year and going strong. Great purchase. ZERO complaints!

Best place in Rochester to buy a used car. Been a customer for the last 7 years. Best customer service during and after the sale. Rochester's best used car dealership for sure.. Highly recommend!

I'm your standard cynical used car buyer, and never had a great experience until now. I recently bought a pickup from Southpoint. A few minor things needed attention before we could finalize the deal. Troy took care of those concerns with out hesitation. The overall buying process was phenomenal, very personal, and both my fiance and I felt no pressure to make the purchase. As we walked out the door, Troy said, "if you ever need anything do not hesitate to call." 
    Fast forward a few weeks and the truck began to miss on one cylinder (common ford problem). Monday morning I called Troy and told him what was going on. Again without hesitation Troy said, "bring it down, we'll take care of it!" Basically the same day I had my truck back, it had been fixed with no added cost to me. We may not live in Rochester for more than a few more years, but even if i have to drive 4, 5 even 6 hours to get to Southpoint Motors to buy my next car, I will. Hands down the nicest place to do business. Great staff, service, and overall experience. Thank you to the team at Southpoint for all your great work!
