Had a great morning here. Dinosaurs section and Gem and Minerals sections were our favorites. But we also enjoyed viewing the birds and human skeletons from various periods in history. You will need about two hours view all three displays. More of you read all the material. Visiting on Wednesday was relatively uncrowded.

Think mini Natural Museum of History! I loved it all lots of cool stuff and weird stuff! You can finish exploring in under 2 hours and then head to lynch. I thought the main hall with the Dino’s was nice to walk around. The geology exhibit was a total rockstar ;) They also have a hands on room for kids but it gets crowded so head there first.

I love visiting the Peabody Museum. It has been a favorite for decades and I always forget how many exhibits they have in the permanent and rotating collections. The hall of dinosaurs is, of course, exciting and informative. My favorites include the gems/minerals, dinosaurs, and the dioramas of animals and ecosystems, but there's more! The space, bugs, birds, Egypt, cave people, kids area (with a free-roaming stick bug and a clear leaf-cutter ant tube habitat). If you can, take advantage of senior/kid discounts, as the entry prices add up, but aren't unreasonable compared to other museums. If you have kids, look for the family days events, as the additional staff add more interactive fun for them.

I got a discount from the Milford Library and only spent $6. Very intresting. Had people in almost every room that did little presentations and games that are good for small children but also adults.
