Were not there long, only a couple of nights, but enjoyed it.  Cool and rainy so did not get outside much.  However, Fall trees and lake were pretty. 

Good: Staff were courteous and helpful.  Lots of open area to run and play with kids. Also, cabins and tent areas are available as well as RV sites.  Hookups (50 amp, water and sewer) were all functional with no issues.  

Mediocre: Only down side would be the dryers in the laundromat... old and noisy. That said, cheaper than any place we've been (1.50/washer, 1.00 dryer). 

Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

That is the rudest manager we have ever dealt with. He was a real jerk and acted awful to my wife and me. I hope you'll read this and not support this jerk. He said I own this place and I'll do and charge whatever I want to.
I asked him for his name and he said NO!
What an a** he is! The worst ever. I hope Passport America reads this and checks on this.

My wife and I spent a weekend there in the primitive area. It was nice and grassy with a goo fire pit. The fishing was good. We caught about 40 or 50 bluegill 2 crappie and about 7 or 8 turtles. Very peaceful place.

The campground is neat and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. However the lake is really going down hill. Can't fish from shoreline anymore to many weeds and algae.  The lake used to be real clean.

Excellent in all aspects. Family friendly and the staff is awesome. Good facilities and campsites
